I’m back

So I’m finally back from my mini-vacation in the woods. Miss me? I had a great time hanging out and getting dirty over the long weekend. It’s mindblowing that it’s already Wednesday and tomorrow’s Thanksgiving though. Where did the week go?

In other news, my little Nacho is the proud mama of 3 perfectly adorable heart stealing puppies I’m proud to announce. She had them today, 1 boy and 2 girls (HA! even a dog knows females are more important than males), and everyone is doing great. I’ll get some pictures posted later. Right now I’m having too much fun playing with them to waste time in photo editing.
Now, the reason I’m posting at all is: Some of you purchased mp3s and whatnots over the weekend while I was gone. I’m going down the list and will get them finished/sent as soon as I can so keep an eye out.

Party at the Lake

This weekend I will be ditching all of you and partying out at the lake! Let’s face it, the fishing is going to suck since the US Army Corps of Engineers has basically made the lake a mud puddle, but I’ll finally have time to take the pictures I’ve been dying to and just relax. And get drunk *evil smile* Yall can have the beer because I’m a straight whiskey woman.
So this means that I won’t be around this weekend to corrupt all you perverts. So from Saturday until mid-Monday you’re on your own. If you purchase a call or purchase an mp3, you won’t get them until Monday when I get back.
The only bad thing as many of you know is that my female dog is pregnant and could be having her puppies any day now. The poor thing looks like she swallowed a keg doesn’t she?

Happy Veterans Day

Well I suppose it would be better to say Happy Armistice Day to encompass everyone in the world (and yes I know this is the day after). It’s amazing to me not many people know much about Veterans Day so I thought I’d post some facts.
Facts about Veterans Day / Armistice Day:
- Came about to celebrate the end of major hostilities in World War I
- The major hostilities formally ended the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 with the German signing of the armistice even though the war continued officially for another 8 months.
- President Dwight D. Eisenhower signed HR7786 officially renaming Armistice Day to Veterans Day in the US in 1954.
- Veterans Day is a federal holiday, but not all states recognize it amazingly enough.
